"Pretty in Pink" Called and They Want Their Plot Back

Yep. My life. Right now. At least in the movie it only takes and hour and a half to find out how the story ends. Mine has been ongoing for the past 3 1/2 months and I'm thinking it's time to give up.

On a not-similar note, I went to "(500) Days of Summer" tonight and it was quite thought provoking. For anyone that has ever been in a relationship and gotten their heart obliterated, you will be able to appreciate it (but only if the hurting is gone). It tells a story of a first love and the bittersweet memories that it undoubtedly brings back. It is quite accurate in how a broken heart feels and the agony of moving on and letting go. It was slightly painful to watch, but I would highly recommend it--it was funny and off-beat. Ok, I'm over the movie review.

I discovered a new song yesterday, it's called "Just Like Heaven" originally by The Cure. I found a remake by Gatsby's American Dream and I think I like it better than the original (sorry all you fans of The Cure). Here are the lyrics:

"Show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream" she said
"The one that makes me laugh" she said
And threw her arms around my neck
"Show me how you do it
And I promise you I promise that
I'll run away with you
I'll run away with you"

Spinning on that dizzy edge
I kissed her face and kissed her head
And dreamed of all the different ways I had
To make her glow
"Why are you so far away?" she said
"Why won't you ever know that I'm in love with you
That I'm in love with you"

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Strange as angels
Dancing in the deepest oceans
Twisting in the water
You're just like a dream

Daylight licked me into shape
I must have been asleep for days
And moving lips to breathe her name
I opened up my eyes
And found myself alone alone
Alone above a raging sea
That stole the only girl I loved
And drowned her deep inside of me

You
Soft and only
You
Lost and lonely
You
Just like heaven

Goodness, sorry if this post has been a downer. I have honestly had one of the most stressful weeks of my life and I'm not handling it very well.
